Sarojini Nagar Resonates with Devotion as 57th Ram Rath Ayodhya Yatra Concludes; Over 8,000 Devotees Benefit

Lucknow: The Sarojini Nagar region of Lucknow witnessed an atmosphere of deep spiritual fervour as the 57th edition of the Ram Rath Ayodhya Yatra concluded successfully, drawing widespread participation and community enthusiasm. The initiative, led by local MLA Rajeshwar Singh, continues to emerge as a significant socio-religious outreach connecting people with cultural roots and faith.

In the latest phase of the yatra, a group of 50 devotees from Sohawa and Jaitikhera villages travelled to Ayodhya, one of India’s most revered pilgrimage destinations, to offer prayers and seek blessings. The group safely returned to Sarojini Nagar after completing the spiritual visit.

Over the past three years, the initiative has enabled more than 8,000 devotees—many of whom might not have otherwise had the opportunity—to visit Ayodhya. The programme is not merely a pilgrimage but a broader effort aimed at fostering unity, cultural awareness, and spiritual enrichment among diverse sections of society.

Participants described the journey as deeply fulfilling, marked by devotional singing and collective prayer, which created a sense of shared faith and belonging. The initiative has also played a role in strengthening community bonds, bringing together people across age groups and backgrounds.

Organisers highlighted that the continued success of the programme reflects strong public support and effective grassroots coordination. By facilitating access to a major religious site, the effort has gradually become a defining cultural feature of the Sarojini Nagar area.

Observers note that such initiatives, when sustained over time, contribute not only to spiritual engagement but also to social cohesion, reinforcing shared values and traditions among communities.

With consistent participation and expanding outreach, the Ram Rath Ayodhya Yatra is expected to continue in the coming months, further strengthening its role as a meaningful bridge between faith, service, and community life.
